	HOW THE HUNT WORKS
It is rather simple, although not necessarily always easy. The Aesthetics Hunt Group, aka AHG, puts together two hunts per year; one in the spring, and one in the fall. 2017 was our first year, with two successful hunts. We had 33 merchants in the first, and grew by over 32% to have 49 stores participating tn the second hunt. At the time of this writing, we have 378 group members in the AHG. There is no cost to join the AHG, or to go on the hunt, however each gift item you find will cost L$1. There are a couple of reasons for this nominal cost. It allows merchants & staff to know the number of times each item was found/purchased. It allows each merchant to know who received their creation. It resets the script in the gift-giver; each time the gift-giver reads the script, the name is reset taking random names from item around it. This help to minimize the cheating done with area searches. Each L$ when purchasing the item goes directly to the designer. For the spring hunts, you will be searching for a camouflaged-colored flower, and for the autumn hunts, you will be searching for an ear of Indian corn. Finding them will be more challenging in some stores and easier in others. All stores should have provided a clue/hint to guide you to their location, but remember, this is supposed to be a fun hunt, so be prepared to perhaps solve a little riddle. Using Google is often helpful with some of the more challenging clues. All stores should have a hint-giver near their poster/kiosk near the landing point, but all hints provided can also be found on this blog. Some stores might provide additional bonus clues for a more challenging hidden location, but this is entirely up to the designer, so don't always expect them. When you find the hidden item, you purchase it for L$1. You will receive a folder titled with the hunt name & the store location. In this folder will be your gift(s). Some might box these up if there are multiple items, some you will just be able to wear. The AHG provides a NC for people that just stumble upon it, and also a LM to the next store in the line-up. If there is not a LM to the next store, that is because the merchant didn't follow directions and has removed it. You can always get the SLURLs in the line-up on the page with the hints.
